I’m so honored to be hosting what is sure to be a rich and lively discussion on Facebook in my Live Audio Room this coming Tuesday! I’ll be joined by two brilliant educators: Bessie Jones, founder of Sow Well Tots and Ashley Causey-Golden, founder of Afrocentric Montessori and co-founder of Gather Forest School! Bessie and Ashley will discuss the classic philosophies that have inspired them — Waldorf, Pikler, and Montessori — and how they have adapted the knowledge they gained from those approaches and used their own imagination to provide magical, meaningful, culturally relevant learning experiences for young children.
